A historic chapter was written twenty years ago when Barcelona and Ronaldinho visited the Bernabeu.
The Brazilian was having the best season of his career, and went into the game as newly named FIFPro World Player of the Year.
Ronaldinho put on an individual performance that left both opposition players and fans open-mouthed: two goals of such skill, such beauty that he received a standing ovation from Madridistas who had just witnessed the dismantling of their team. They had also just witnessed pure genius.
Nine days later, on November 28, 2005, Ronaldinho won the Ballon d'Or.
The 2025/26 Barcelona Fourth jersey is inspired by a memorable player on a memorable night.
